The counsel to Nnamdi Kanu, leader of the Indigenous People of Biafra, IPOB, Aloy Ejimakor, has reacted to the Kenyan court’s declaration of the agitator’s abduction and rendition to the Nigerian government as illegal and unlawful.
He disclosed this statement on his X account on Friday.
His comments come as Justice E.C. Mwita of the High Court in Nairobi, Kenya, in a 13-page judgement, detailed how their and Nigerian governments violated the human rights of Kanu.

The court further awarded 10 million Kenyan shillings in compensatory damages against their government for its role in the unlawful abduction and rendition of Kanu.
Reacting, Ejimakor lauded the judgement and the lead counsel of Kanu in Kenya, Prof. Lumumba.
“As the Kenyan High Court rules AGAINST the #ExtraordinaryRendition of Mazi Nnamdi Kanu, I make bold to commend Prof. Lumumba (our Kenyan lead counsel who worked closely with me), Kanunta & Prince Emmanuel (for their tenacity & fraternity), & Justice Mwita for the judicial courage,” he wrote on X.
