The Olubadan-designate, Oba Rashidi Ladoja, will be crowned as the 44th Olubadan of Ibadanland on Friday, September 26, 2025, according to reports.

Information obtained by our correspondent revealed that his nomination has been endorsed by the State Governor, Seyi Makinde.

Ladoja and other Olubadan-In-Council members met with the state delegation on Wednesday at his private home in Bodija, it was also reported.

Adeola Oloko, a media aide for the 44th Olubadan, verified the development to newsmen Online when contacted.

“Oba Ladoja will be enthroned as the 44th Olubadan of Ibadanland on Friday, September 26, 2025.

“The ceremony is billed for the ancient Mapo Hall in Ibadan, the state capital.
