The managing directors of the three refineries that fall under the jurisdiction of the Nigerian National Petroleum Company Limited(NNPCL) have been fired by the company’s new management.

These refineries include; the Port Harcourt Refining Company, Warri Refining and Petrochemical Company, and Kaduna Refining and Petrochemical Company. Other senior officials of the national oil company were also asked to resign, including Bala Wunti, who was previously in charge of the National Petroleum Investment Management.

The new management also demanded that officials with only one year to their various retirement dates to resign.
