Peter Obi, the Labour Party 2023 presidential candidate has come under serious criticism following a recent allegation by human rights activist lawyer, Deji Adeyanju. In the most recent twist, Aisha Yesufu, an activist, has urged Mr. Deji Adeyanju to provide Nigerians with evidence of his latest accusations against Peter Obi, a candidate for president in 2027.
Adeyanju has often accused Peter Obi of “fraud,” claiming to have solid proof that the former governor of Anambra is not who he says he is.
In his most recent attack against the former presidential candidate, which many Nigerians feel is being supported by the All Progressives Congress, or APC, government, he also branded Obi a manipulator and a religious bigot.

Recall that Obi already took Adeyanju to appear in court and present proof of his purported deception.
Strong Obi supporter, Aisha stated that there was no need to speak with Adeyanju and that he should give his evidence in court since he has it.
The former Bring Back Our Girls, or BBOG, campaigner noted that the case will provide her and millions of other Obi supporters access to Deji’s evidence, allowing them to decide whether to keep or stop supporting Obi.
“Barrister Deji Adeyanju @adeyanjudeji has repeatedly said that he has evidence to show that Mr Peter Obi @PeterObi is a fraud and that Mr Peter Obi should sue him. This is a lawyer speaking!” Aisha wrote on X.

“As a supporter of Mr Peter Obi, I am interested in the evidence the Barrister has. I would not be one to give support to anyone that is fraudulent so this case will offer me and millions of others the opportunity to have access to the evidence Barrister Deji has so we know whether to continue our support for Mr Peter Obi or withdraw it.
“Mr Peter Obi going to court is the civil thing to do. Where one is defamed especially from a LAWYER, then one should go to court.
“If Mr Peter Obi had used machinery of the State to get Barrister Deji arrested and thrown into jail like many of the dictators we fight are doing then I would be leading a #FreeDejiAdeyanju and calling out Mr Peter Obi!
“As for now, #LetsHaveTheEvidence!”
Also recall that Deji Adeyanju in a recent interview stated that he does not support ADC however, he will vote for Tinubu’s reelection in 2027 if the ADC coalition presented Obi as its candidate.
