A formidable youth-led political movement is gaining speed ahead of the 2027 elections and has declared unstoppable support for Oyo State Governor Engineer Seyi Makinde.
Operating under the name of Nigeria Youths Awareness Group (NYAG) Makinde 2027, the group has announced its unshakeable support for Makinde, calling him “the only leader with the vision, capacity, and track record to rescue Nigeria.”
After months of extensive talks and political planning meetings, youth organisations across the country have decided to support Makinde’s presidential ambition, NYAG’s National Secretary, Alhaji Lawal Abdullahi, told reporters in Kano.
“We’ve met, we’ve strategized, and we’re united,” Abdullahi declared. “This is bigger than politics. It’s a movement. We’re a moving train — and nothing can stop us.”
The group revealed that it is conducting a statewide mobilisation, commencing in Northern Nigeria. According to Abdullahi, consultations have already been place with major political players and influencers, many of whom have “quietly pledged their support” for the Seyi 2027 initiative.

According to the group, thousands of posters, billboards, and other campaign materials have already been made and will soon be distributed throughout important northern cities, like as Kano, Katsina, Jigawa, Borno, Yobe, and Gombe. The process of expanding to the South has already begun.
Abdullahi further pointed to the governor’s record in Oyo State as evidence that he was prepared to guide Nigeria through political disenchantment and economic hardship.
