The former Nigerian senator, Shehu Sani, has warned rich Nigerians against traveling with their maids overseas.
In a post he shared on X,
Shehu Sani warned that maids who travel overseas with rich Nigerians often end up turning against them once they arrive.
These maids claim to report to the police in the foreign land that they have been turned into domestic slaves.
He wrote; ‘’Africans traveling abroad with housemaids or nannies from their villages;Just know that the day that housemaid or nanny report you to the police in your host country you can end up in Jail.
“The offence is called domestic slavery.The case of the Ugandan Judge in Uk,Lydia Mugambe should be a lesson for all.”
