President Bola Ahmed Tinubu on the occasion of his 73rd birthday has pledged more commitment and hard work. Tinubu has promised Nigerians that he would continue to work towards the peace, progress and stability of the country.
Recall that the President Tinubu on Friday announced that he would be joining other Muslim faithfuls in a special prayer session, seeking divine guidance for his leadership.
The president made this pledge during an interview with press men said that after the national Juma’ah prayer session and commemorating his birthday at the National Mosque, Abuja.
The president, expressed thanksgiving God for the grace to his 73rd birthday, emphasizing that the safety and welfare of Nigerians remains a priority in his mind and prayer list.Tinubu said “I feel good. I feel happy. I thank the Almighty Allah who has protected us and continues to answer our prayers.“We also thank Allah for accepting our worship; that is key and very important to us.“We have prayed for our country. We prayed for the stability and peace of the nation.
“We prayed that Almighty Allah will safeguard our people and all citizens,” the president added.Tinubu
“The word for all of us is hard work. You work harder, and you pray harder.“That’s the inspiration I got from today’s sermon. We thank God almighty that at this stage, we are still in it and working.”The Malami Ubandoma of Ilorin Emirate, Dr Abdulkadir Solagberu and other clerics led the special prayers for the president and the country.
Solagberu promised Tinubu of continuous prayers for his health, strength, and wisdom to oversee the nation’s affairs toward success.The Imam of the National Mosque, Prof. Muhammad Adam also present thanked the president and his wife, Sen. Other attendees at the Friday congregational prayer include; Sen. Kashim Shettima, the Vice President, Sen. Barau Jibrin, the Deputy Senate President, Mallam Nuhu Ribadu, the National Security Adviser, Ministers, Service Chiefs, and some members of the president’s family.
