FCT Minister Nyesom Wike has received a warning from a Nigerian healthcare practitioner on the well-known microblogging site X, concerning his health, in response to a recent viral video of him that went viral online.
Recall that it was rumoured that the former governor of Rivers state collapsed during a function and was immediately flown to France for treatment with reports alleging that he may not walk again.
Following this, Nyesom Wike, debunked the rumors and stated that he is in good condition when he finally appears in public. However, Wike’s response received mixed reviews, as another video where the FCT was seen limping went viral.
In new video of FCT Minister Nyesom Wike that has just gone viral, the 57-year-old minister is seen bending his hand unconsciously while walking, displaying some symptoms of paralysis that are ingrained in him. In the clip, Wike was unable to move an down the stairs without holding onto the rails.
In response to the recent viral video of Wike descending from the stairs, a medical professional reported seeing hemiparesis, a neurological disorder that can be brought on by strokes and is characterized by weakness or partial paralysis on one side of the body, usually affecting the arms, legs, and face.

The healthcare practitioner claims that Wike is sick and that if he does not take enough care of his health, the hemiparesis could recur. He advised the FCT minister to cut back on his alcohol use, control his blood pressure, and quit acting in a malevolent and hostile manner.
Responding to the video, he wrote “Dear @GovWike , some of us are trained in healthcare and can see affliction when it’s obvious. I see hemiparesis, and the terrible thing about it is that it may reoccur if the underlying cause is not fully addressed, or if you don’t take proper care of your health. And what do I mean? Quite alcohol, manage your blood pressure, rest & stop being wicked & too hateful because it takes a whole lot to carry hate in your system. The choice is yours. Already a large percentage of Nigerians don’t wish you well, but it’s up to you to do what’s right for yourself & your family. Your choice.🤷🏾♂️ Goodluck!👍🏽.”

Several other Nigerians reacting to the video have stated their thoughts with one user stating that she does not wish him well.
