In a statement that was released by his media aide, Primate Ayodele warned the former president to be wary of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), which he described as a cursed party. And any politician, including GEJ, who is willing to contest under PDP, will have to do a lot of work and equally seek the face of God.

He said, “If Jonathan wants to come out of PDP, he will do a lot of work because there is a curse on the party already; there are other parties he can come out from that are better than PDP.”

“Jonathan will be blindfolded, wrong advisers will destroy his dreams, and if he contests and loses, he will be embarrassed by his past and face disrespect.”

Although the ex-president has not formally declared his intentions to run for the 2027 presidential elections, the rumors of him coming out to run have begun to gain momentum.

NaijaEyes Blog reported earlier on Jonathan’s closed-door meeting with the National Chairman of the African Democratic Congress (ADC), Senator David Mark, which was about his possible return to the presidential seat.

Jonathan rose to the role of president in 2010 to complete the term of Umaru Yar’Adua, who died in office. Afterwards, he competed and won the 2011 election, where he ruled Nigeria for 4 years before losing his re-election for another term to the late President Muhammadu Buhari.
