Commissioning of the Buwangal mosque and advocacy for equity
The House of Representatives Minority Whip, Dr. Ali Isa, drove this point home during the official handover of a state-of-the-art mosque in the Buwangal area of Balanga Local Government.
The lawmaker, who handles the Billiri/Balanga Federal Constituency, took the opportunity to remind fellow leaders that holding public office requires deep equity, justice, and a strong moral compass. He stressed that authority is a trust from above, and citizens must honor established leadership while playing their part to keep the peace.
Showing a refreshing brand of politics that puts public welfare above party lines, Dr. Isa praised Gombe State Governor Muhammadu Yahaya for his visible contributions to state development.
This kind of cross-party acknowledgment is rare but highly necessary. The newly built religious center is slated to act as a point of convergence for community members, promoting regular fellowship and moral discipline.
