Florence Otedola, popularly known as DJ Cuppy, a renowned disc jockey and daughter of Nigerian billionaire, Femi Otedola, has shared her thoughts on realizing how privileged she is.
The music star admitted that she was initially unaware of her wealthy background.
She explained that she has now come to understand that what seemed normal to her was actually a dream for many others.
On her X account, DJ Cuppy wrote, “As a child, I didn’t fully grasp the extent of my privilege. I never had to worry about anything”.
“Thank God I see it now. What felt normal to me is something someone else is praying for. Gratitude changes everything.”
