Legendary Nigerian singer, Innocent Idibia, A.K.A. 2Face or 2baba, has been in the news lately, especially the saga on his current marriage situation with his wife, Anne Idibia.<\/strong><\/h6>\n

2Face took to his Instagram page to announce his separation and subsequently his divorce from his estranged wife. He made this announcement on Sunday 26th January, 2025.<\/p>\n

The caption on his Instagram post reads,<\/p>\n

\u201cHello, my beautiful people of all the Federation. Well, this thing I have to say is short but also long\u2026 Annie Macauley and I have been separated for a while now and have filed for divorce.<\/em><\/p>\n

\u201cI would grant a press release soon to say my story. Not because it is anyone\u2019s right to know about my personal life, but because I love my people and I want them to know my innocence or offence. Stay blessed my people.\u201d<\/em><\/p>\n

\"\"<\/p>\n

Shortly after, the singer deleted all his posts and videos, claiming his account was hacked. This generated a lot of conversations online about the couple, who have been showing signs of their marriage hitting several rock bottoms hinged on infidelity and family issues.<\/p>\n

Surprisingly, 2face Idibia made another video in reaction to the online conversations, saying, “Hello, my people, nobody hacked my account. Na me talk weytin I won yan.\u201d<\/em><\/p>\n

Celebrities have weighed in on the situation; some were attacking 2Face, while some were asking him to say his own side of the story.<\/p>\n

Koko by Khloe posted on her Instagram page, saying,<\/p>\n

\u201cThis period? Like this time? This season? Hell no.<\/em><\/p>\n

\u201cSee ehn, make I just no talk anything right now cos make this be prank o! Men\u2026 Fight Annie, fight all of us o. Love is really wicked. Men ahhh.\u201d<\/em><\/p>\n

Nollywood actress Mary Remmy Njoku also reacted to the whole situation and stated that 2Face should be ready to answer questions when the time comes.<\/p>\n

Toke Makinwa was not left out, as she also went to her Instagram page to say this:<\/p>\n

\u201cThis is wrong on all levels, and you should be ashamed of yourself for bringing this here.<\/em><\/p>\n

\u201cBring it on. If you think she\u2019s alone, let me tell you here that you\u2019ll have to fight all of us.\u201d<\/em><\/p>\n

She further posted on her Instagram Story, \u201cI\u2019m not one for too much talk, but what is wrong is wrong, and as a woman, if you sit on the fence on this one, if it misses you, it\u2019ll touch your daughter or any female in your family.<\/em><\/p>\n

\u201cNo one is innocent, and if you want to bring the media into it, knowing what is happening, we would fight for her.\u201d\u00a0<\/em><\/p>\n
