Olumuyiwa Adejobi, the Police Force Public Relations Officer, said in a statement that the appointments by the IGP is only targeted at strengthening internal security and improving the police force\u2019s quick response to violent crimes.<\/p>\n

The statement also announced the appointment of CSP Chima Ogarashi as the new Force Marine Officer, tasked with enhancing security and tackling crime along the nation\u2019s inland waterways.<\/p>\n
