The suspended Kogi Central Senator, Natasha Akpoti-Uduaghan, has removed herself from statements made by Sandra Duru concerning her sexual harassment allegations against Senate President Godswill Akpabio.<\/p>\n

Duru, a United States, US-based activist and media personality, had released damning evidence against Natasha.<\/p>\n

The one-hour, eight-minute live stream came amid rising controversy over Natasha\u2019s recent allegations against Akpabio.<\/p>\n

Senate President, Godswill Akpabio<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n

Natasha had accused Akpabio of making sexual overtures towards her in the presence of her husband.<\/p>\n

The lawmaker\u2019s allegations led to her being suspended for six<\/a> months over her inability to provide evidence.<\/p>\n

However, during a Facebook Live broadcast on Thursday night, Duru showed phone call logs and WhatsApp conversations, alleging that Natasha attempted to rope her into a plot to frame Akpabio for sexual harassment and organ harvesting.<\/p>\n

However, Natasha accused Duru of propagating falsehood.<\/p>\n

In a statement she personally signed, Natasha said:\u00a0\u201cI have carefully watched a livestream which was done by one Sandra C Duru on facebook, on May 1st, 2025.<\/p>\n

\u201cThe content of the livestream including the voice effect credited to me are entirely untrue, and most manipulated to serve Sandra Duru\u2019s ulterior motive of playing the script of Senator Godswill Akpabio.<\/p>\n

\u201cTo the best of my knowledge, those words used against Dr. Oby Ezekwesili, Dr. Abiola, FIDA and fellow Nigerians as \u201cGullible and Hungry\u201d are crazy falsehood and did not emanate from the natural cause of any contact involving me.<\/em><\/p>\n

\"Natasha\"<\/p>\n

\u201cIt was from recent research that I also found out that the person who now represents herself as Sandra Duru is the same person who operated a, s Prof. Mgbeke on Facebook.<\/p>\n

\u201cIn the nearest of time, I will respond to the unfounded allegations made therein.\u201d<\/em><\/p>\n
