Defection: Peter Obi’s media aide to join APC ahead of 2027<\/strong><\/p>\n

The recent wave of mass defection from other opposition parties<\/a> to the ruling All Progressives Congress, APC, may soon affect Peter Obi, the Labour Party\u2019s presidential candidate in the last election according to the Presidency.<\/strong><\/h5>\n

In a Television interview, Daniel Bwala, President Bola Tinubu’s Special Adviser on Media and Policy, said that some of Obi’s associates are headed to join the ruling party.<\/p>\n

According to Bwala, “the second handler is in talks” with party leaders, while one of Obi’s handlers has already defected to the APC.<\/p>\n

He further revealed that another defection from Peter Obi’s camp is around the corner, adding that one of Obi’s media assistants has indicated interest in joining the APC<\/a>.<\/p>\n
