Leke Abejide, the chairman of the House of Representatives Committee on Customs and Excise, has stated that if former president Goodluck Jonathan runs in 2027, President Bola Tinubu will prevail.<\/strong><\/p>\n

According to Abejide, if Jonathan agrees to run in the 2027 election, Tinubu will win more than 32 states in Nigeria.<\/p>\n

Former president Goodluck Jonathan<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n

This was revealed by Leke Abejide, the legislator for Kogi State’s Yagba East\/Yagba West\/Mopamuro Federal Constituency, in a conversation with Seun Okinbaloye on the Mic On podcast on Saturday.<\/p>\n

There have been permutations that Jonathan would contest for the presidency in 2027.<\/p>\n

Before being defeated by the late former president Muhammadu Buhari in 2015, Goodluck served one term as president.<\/p>\n

However, Abejide warned that GoodLuck might comeback and that Tinubu might only lose in Anambra and Ebonyi States.<\/p>\n

The African Democratic Congress, ADC<\/a>, chieftain said: \u201cMy prayer is that they should run like that (different political platforms) and Asiwaju will win 32 states.<\/p>\n

\u201cHe may lose maybe Anambra, Abia, he will win Ebonyi; he may win more than 32 states.\u201d<\/p>\n

On Tinubu being popular, he said: \u201cI just came from Kano, I was in Kano on Wednesday and I slept there. I came to Kaduna by road yesterday morning.<\/p>\n
