According to the US president, if the purported genocide against Christians was not halted, the US President threatened to send military troops to Nigeria.<\/p>\n

Trump instructed the “Department of War” to get ready for “possible action” in the event that the killings persisted in a post on his Truth Social platform on Saturday.<\/p>\n

Trump futher warned that the United States would discontinue all aid and assistance to Nigeria if President Bola Tinubu\u2019s administration failed to end the alleged persecution and killing of Christians.<\/p>\n

Meanwhile, the National Orientation Agency’s<\/a> Director-General, Lanre Issa-Onilu, earlier told newsmen that the security chiefs and the NSA, Nuhu Ribadu would speak to the media about the danger from the United States President.<\/p>\n

According to him, the briefing will \u201cprovide adequate response to the allegations of genocide and update the media on ongoing government efforts to contain insecurity and other vices.\u201d<\/p>\n
