A chieftain of the New Nigeria Peoples Party(NNPP), Buba Galadima, has stated that if the Nigerian people could remove former President Goodluck Jonathan from office in 2015 over insecurity, the All Progressives Congress(APC) can be cut into pieces.<\/strong><\/h5>\n

In an interview with Channels Television’s Politics Today on Thursday, Galadima cautioned that if the country’s current economic and security problems persist, Nigerians may respond violently at the polls.<\/p>\n

\"election\"<\/p>\n

He strongly renounced assertions that living circumstances had improved and criticised the ruling APC’s<\/a> programs.<\/p>\n

Citing instances of arrests for public remarks, the elder statesman said that authorities should not undervalue public emotion in his remarks on political dissent and governance.<\/p>\n

He bemoaned the detention and incarceration of young people who speak out on the radio about what’s going on in Nigeria.<\/p>\n

The NNPP chieftain speaking to the APC<\/a>-led Federal Government said that they should not presume that Nigerians were gullible and that they cannot react.<\/p>\n

\u201cNow things start small, small. You don\u2019t know how they can blossom and become something else. They shouldn\u2019t play.<\/p>\n

\"APC\"<\/p>\n

\u201cIf you can remove Jonathan\u2019s government for a simple insecurity in the Northeast, what would you be doing to the APC government? I think we have to cut them into pieces,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n
