Governor Ahmadu Fintiri of Adamawa State has promised to deliver 85 percent votes for President Bola Tinubu in next year\u2019s general elections.<\/strong><\/h5>\n

Governor Fintiri made this promise on Wednesday during a courtesy visit to Prof. Nentawe Yilwatda, National Chairman of the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC).<\/p>\n

\"Fintiri\"<\/p>\n

The visit occurs soon after Fintiri, his cabinet, and a significant chunk of the state’s PDP apparatus defected from the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) to the APC.<\/p>\n

The governor promised steadfast support for President Bola Tinubu’s reelection campaign in the 2027 general elections and reaffirmed his complete allegiance to the APC at the meeting.<\/p>\n

He underlined that joining the APC<\/a> was a calculated action meant to fortify the party, advance national cohesion, guarantee Adamawa’s long-term stability and growth, and bolster support for the president’s Renewed Hope Agenda.<\/p>\n

\u201cI assure you that Adamawa State would deliver at least 85% of the votes for President Tinubu and the APC in the upcoming polls,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n
