One of the requirements, according to Mr. Pezeshkian’s post on X on Wednesday<\/a>, is that the US “pay reparations” for the harm it has done to Iran. He claimed that during discussions with the “leaders of Russia and Pakistan,” two nations that denounced the US and Israel for initiating the conflict, he revealed the terms.<\/p>\n

\u201cTalking to leaders of Russia and Pakistan, I reaffirmed Iran\u2019s commitment to peace in the region. The only way to end this war\u2014ignited by the Zionist regime & US\u2014is recognizing Iran\u2019s legitimate rights, payment of reparations, and firm int\u2019l guarantees against future aggression.\u201d<\/p>\n

Recall that over 1,300 Iranians have died in the conflict, which began 12 days ago when the US and Israel launched an unprovoked attack on Iran, according to previous reports.<\/p>\n
