Iran’s top military leadership has threatened to engage in a tit-for-tat if the US targets the Islamic Republic’s vital assets, as President Donald Trump has threatened.<\/strong><\/h5>\n

Recall that the US President issued a deadline<\/a> on Saturday via Truth Social, warning Iran to\u2014without threat\u2014fully open the Strait of Hormuz within 48 hours or face destruction.<\/p>\n

Trump stated<\/a> that if the request is not heeded, the U.S. \u201cwill hit and obliterate their various power plants, starting with the biggest one first.\u201d<\/p>\n

Responding, Khatam al-Anbiya Central Headquarters spokesperson Ebrahim Zolfaghari said if Iran is attacked, \u201call energy infrastructure, IT systems, and desalination facilities belonging to the U.S. and the regime in the region will be targeted.\u201d<\/p>\n

Meanwhile, Iranian missiles penetrated Israeli defences and hit the southern cities of Dimona and Arad on Saturday, leaving dozens of civilians injured, some of them critically.<\/p>\n

The attack, which caused massive destruction, targeted two locations just a few kilometers away from Israel\u2019s nuclear installation located in the Negev desert.<\/p>\n

\"China<\/p>\n

It happened just hours after Tehran claimed that Israel and the United States had bombed a uranium enrichment plant in Natanz that was crucial to Iran’s nuclear program.<\/p>\n

According to top lawmaker, Mohammad Bagher Ghalibaf, Israel’s inability to stop the missiles in the well guarded Dimona location will operationally mark the start of a new stage of the conflict.<\/p>\n
