Iran has announced that the Strait of Hormuz is now \u201ccompletely open\u201d to all commercial vessels.<\/p>\n

Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi disclosed this in a statement on X .<\/a><\/p>\n

Similarly, he said that the decision to open the strategic waterway aligns with the terms of the Lebanon ceasefire agreement.<\/p>\n

He said, \u201cIn line with the ceasefire in Lebanon, the passage for all commercial vessels through the Strait of Hormuz is declared completely open for the remaining period of the ceasefire.\u201d<\/p>\n

Recall that, that Israel and Lebanon reached a 10-day ceasefire on Thursday.<\/p>\n

President Donald Trump in a statement earlier, revealed that Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and Lebanon’s President Joseph Aoun met in Washington on Tuesday for the first time in 34 years.<\/p>\n

Despite Pakistan’s assertion that Lebanon was covered by the ceasefire deal, Mr. Netanyahu’s office declared that the ceasefire does not apply to the nation.<\/p>\n

However, on the latest agreement between the US and Iran, Trump confirmed that the strait was \u201ccompletely open and ready for business and full passage.<\/p>\n

He said in a Truth Social post<\/a> that \u201cIt will no longer be used as a weapon against the World!\u201d.<\/p>\n

Trump also added that the US naval blockade of Iran would \u201cremain in full force\u201d until Iran reached a deal with the US to end the war.<\/p>\n

Mr. Trump further stated that an agreement to stop the US-Israeli assault on Iran was “very close,” with the next round of negotiations scheduled to take place in Islamabad.<\/p>\n
