Nigerian singer Simisola Kosoko, popularly known as Simi, has achieved her first international music certification with her hit single “Duduke.”
The song was recently certified Gold in New Zealand after selling 15,000 units, marking her first-ever foreign recognition.

Originally released in 2022, “Duduke” beautifully captures the rhythmic heartbeat of Simi’s love for her unborn child, with the singer proudly showcasing her baby bump in the music video.

To further engage her fans, She introduced the #DudukeChallenge, encouraging listeners to share their personal interpretations of the heartfelt song.
She revealed in an interview that some people were calling her daughter, Adejare, “Duduke” because she inspired the popular song.
She explained that referring to her daughter as “Duduke” isn’t offensive, however, she prefers they call her by her name.
