One half of the now-defunct P-Square, Peter Okoye popularly known as Mr P, has dismissed speculation that the music group, can never reunite.
P-Square, which initially comprised Peter and Paul Okoye, were well-known for their upbeat shows and catchy tunes. After a four-year feud and several public and financial scandals, the twin brothers reconciled in 2021 after splitting up in 2017. But in 2024, they had another falling out, and ever since, they have been performing alone.
The singer’s response comes after X user requested if P-Square could get back together a few hours ago. In response, Peter wrote:
‘’Not with me. Done and dusted”
Recall that in 2023, Psquare had fallen out again after reuniting because of the joint funds being diverted by their elder brother, Jude Okoye.
Paul described in an interview how Peter had him and their older brother, Jude Okoye, arrested by the EFCC in December 2023. Fortunately, he was found not guilty of any of the accusations made against him following a comprehensive inquiry by the panel.
However, Peter refuted Paul’s allegations that he had been arrested. He pointed out that Paul preferred to work with their older brother, Jude, to marginalise and degrade him instead of working with him to regain their top status in the music business.
