Popular comedian, skit maker and social media influencer, Samuel Perry, better known as Broda Shaggi, has been hospitalised after he was allegedly shot.
According to information received, the event happened on Sunday afternoon under the Sango-Ota bridge.
A police source who spoke on condition of anonymity stated that the content creator was shot while recording a comedy skit at the location, despite the fact that the circumstances surrounding the incident are still unknown.

The source said that Broda Shaggi was immediately rushed to the Blooming Care Hospital in Alakuko neighbourhood of Lagos state, where he received preliminary care.
“He was shooting a skit under the Sango-Ota bridge when he sustained a gunshot injury. We don’t have details on how it happened yet, but his crew members who were present quickly rushed him to the hospital,” the source said.
The source also disclosed that medical personnel at the hospital administered first aid upon his arrival.
The Lagos State Police Command spokesperson, Abimbola Adebisi, confirmed the development when reached on Thursday, stating that the hospital had notified the police.
Calls to Olufemi Oguntamu, popularly known as Penzaar, Broda Shaggi’s manager went unanswered. As of the time this complaint was filed, he had not responded to a text message given to him.
