The Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) has already declared that Anambra State Governor Prof. Chukwuma Soludo has won every one of the 19 local government districts announced out of 21 LGA’s, following the election held on Saturday.
In every result that was revealed, Soludo scored by extremely large margins, leaving his rivals well behind.
This comes after the governor confidently declared yesterday that APGA would win the state polls with a landslide.

The local government areas whos results have been announced include: Dunukofia, Njikoka, Ogbaru, Awka North, Awka South, Orumba North, Orumba South, Aguata and Ekwusigo.
Others are: Nnewi North, Nnewi South, Anaocha, Idemili North, Idemili South, Onitsha North, Onitsha South, Oyi, Ayamelum and Anambra East.
There are now just two of Anambra State’s twenty-one local government areas left to be announced. Anambra West and Ihiala.

The commission and its officials have gone on a one hour break, hoping to complete the exercise this morning.
According to TheCables’s live feed of the result counting exercise, these are the latest results as of this morning from 20 LGA’S as at the time of this report;
APGA: 399,107
APC: 95,020
LP: 10,424
PDP: 1,332

With Soludo’s expected victory, he would be the third governor following Mr Peter Obi and Chief Willie Obiano who would have ruled the state from APGA, all for two consecutive terms.
