Tottenham served a big blow to their Chances of winning the Europa League Final with Dejan Kulusevski Out with Knee Injury Surgery
As the clock winds down and the days draw nearer to the Europa final clash between Manchester United and Tottenham on May 21st, 2025, at San Mames stadium in Bilbao.
Tottenham’s forward, Dejan Kulusevski, will miss out on the final clash with rivals Manchester United due to undergoing knee surgery, which will inadvertently affect his team’s chances of clinching the cup come May 21st.
Kulusevski picked up the injury in the 19th minute of Tottenham’s 0-2 loss on Sunday to Crystal Palace. He was caught in a rough challenge by Palace’s defender, Marc Guehi.

After examining his leg, the medical team recommended him for immediate surgery to remedy the situation.
The London club released a statement on their website regarding the injury and also disclosed he will be undergoing surgery.
The statement read, “We can confirm that Dejan Kulusevski suffered an injury to his right patella in our Premier League fixture against Crystal Palace last weekend.
“Following further specialist consultation, the midfielder has undergone surgery today (Wednesday) and will commence his rehabilitation with our medical staff immediately.”
Kulusevski joins James Maddison, another key player for Tottenham who has been ruled out for the rest of the season due to injury.
Currently, in the Premier League, both teams have underperformed way below expectations with 2 games left to be played. Tottenham and Manchester United sit in the 17th and 16th positions on the table.
However, Manchester United will be hoping to come out on top in the Europa Final clash after they lost in the Carabao Cup quarterfinals to Tottenham
