Nigeria and Galatasaray’s super striker, Victor Osimhen, got the Super Eagles ahead with a clean header connecting with a fine cross from Ademola Lookman in the 44th minute of the 1st half. This was his second goal of the tournament.

Wilfred Ndidi pushed the Super Eagles further with another clean header from an Ademola Lookman corner, which beat the Tunisian goalkeeper to find the back of the net. Ndidi, who was wearing jersey number 4, the same number worn by Nigeria’s footballing legend, Nwankwo Kanu, decided to celebrate his goal just like Kanu did in Atlanta 96′.
