Skej, a new startup, offers an AI assistant that integrates into emails to schedule meetings, making the process easier and more efficient. Unlike other solutions like Calendly, Skej scans availability directly from emails and finds mutual slots for meetings. It’s the brainchild of Paul Canetti, a serial entrepreneur, and his team, who sought to replicate the ease of scheduling with a human assistant. Users simply add Skej’s email to their conversation and ask it to find suitable meeting times. Skej works across email platforms and integrates with calendars and programs like Zoom. It leverages AI models to interpret language and negotiate meeting times, promising a natural conversational experience. While Skej is currently in public beta and free to use, it plans to introduce a paid tier in the future.
