The Super Eagles Team Lineup Against Gabon for the 2026 World Cup Qualifying Playoffs (Semi-final).
The Super Eagles of Nigeria take on the Panthers of Gabon in the semi-final playoffs of the CAF World Cup Qualifiers to clinch the 2026 World Cup ticket. The match is scheduled to take place at the Moulay Hassan Stadium in Rabat, Morocco.
The winner of this clash will go ahead to face the winner of the semifinal clash between Cameroon and DR Congo. Nigerians are expecting a comfortable victory from the Super Eagles over Gabon but also have to be wary about their opponent’s hitman, Pierre Emerick Aubameyang.
Super Eagles head coach, Eric Chelle, has released his first team eleven to face Gabon. Victor Osimhen leads the starting lineup with Ademola Lookman, Samuel Chukwueze, and Akor Adams providing support to him.
Alex Iwobi and Wilfred Ndidi maintain their positions in the midfield as Eric looks to have enough experience in his midfield to battle the likes of Gabon’s Anchor Mario Lemina. This match will be Iwobi’s 90th appearance for the Super Eagles.
