‘They warned Wike to leave Fubara alone’ Fayose Reveals Claims From Recent Tinubu Meeting With Wike-Fubara Duo

Popular Nigerian businessman and brother to former Ekiti State governor, Isaac Fayose has revealed part of the details from the most recent Wike-Fubara meeting brokered by Tinubu on Monday

Although not confirmed by those present at the meeting, Fayose claims that the Minister of the Federal Capital Territory, FCT, Nyesom Wike was told by the presidency to stop troubling the Rivers State Governor, Siminalayi Fubara.

According to reports, in an effort to resolve the state’s ongoing political issue, President Bola Tinubu hosted the FCT minister, Fubara, and a few other stakeholders in Rivers on Monday.

However, the meeting’s specifics are still unclear as neither party has disclosed the outcome.

In a video made public on his Facebook page Tuesday morning, Fayose, however, claimed that the FCT minister was informed that Fubara is still the state’s All Progressives Congress (APC) leader.

“I learnt that presidency has warned Wike to leave Fubara alone. I told you people that Fubara is not going anywhere.

“They told Wike that Fubara is the leader of their party in Rivers State and that he should carry him along or else he may lose his job.

“Those who know Wike should warn him very well, I don’t want to visit him in Kuje prison like Emefiele”, Fayose claimed.
