BREAKING NEWS: Tinubu orders withdrawal of police officers attached to VIPs

President Bola Ahmed Tinubu has ordered the withdrawal of police officers currently providing security for Very Important Persons (VIPs) in the country.

Police officials will now deploy them to focus on their primary policing responsibilities, according to a statement signed by his spokesperson, Bayo Onanuga.

According to the presidential directive, VIPs who require police protection will now request well-armed personnel from the Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps.
