She made the statement while addressing the January 2024 incident, when she filed a petition against Davido for allegedly threatening her life.
The disagreement stemmed from a social media post she made featuring Sophia Momodu, Davido’s first baby mama, just as Davido was involved in a custody battle with her.
However, speaking about the incident in an interview with The Breakfast Club, Tiwa Savage assured Davido that she would never betray him or take sides in matters involving him.
She reiterated her love and admiration for the ‘OBO’ crooner.
“I haven’t spoken to Davido, but I do want you to know that I love you and I would never betray you or take side,” Savage stated.
