United States President Donald Trump has described Colombian President Gustavo Petro as a “sick man” and issued a threat of military action against Colombia.

Speaking to reporters aboard Air Force One on Sunday, Trump accused Petro of being involved in the production and sale of cocaine to the United States, warning that such actions would not continue for long.

The remarks came a day after Trump announced the capture of Venezuelan President Nicolás Maduro.
Recall that Trump on Saturday announced the capture of Venezuelan President Nicolas Maduro and his wife.
“We have a very sick neighbour. Colombia is very sick too. Run by a sick man who likes making cocaine and selling it to the US, and he’s not gonna be doing it very long,” he said.
