Trump to get 3rd term- ex-White House strategist reveals

Former White House chief strategist Stephen Bannon predicts that US President Donald Trump will serve a third term.

During the president’s first term, Bannon held a brief position in the White House.

“Trump is going to be president in ’28, and people ought to just get accommodated with that,” Bannon stated in a Thursday interview with The Economist.

The US 22nd Amendment however forbids a president from seeking office for more than two four-year terms, regardless of whether they were consecutive.

“There’s many different alternatives,” Bannon claimed when asked if the law would be disregarded.

“At the appropriate time, we’ll lay out what the plan is but there is a plan.”

Bannon added, “We have to finish what we started,” and stated that Trump must be re-elected because the United States needs him.

He described the US president as a “vehicle of divine providence” and an “instrument of divine will”.

“The only way President Trump wins in 2028 and continues to stay in office is by the will of the American people, and the will of the American people is what the Constitution embodies.”
