The United States Ambassador to the United Nations, Mike Waltz, has extended an invitation to singer Nicki Minaj for a discussion on the protection of persecuted Christians.

This follows Nicki Minaj’s recent post condemning the alleged persecution of Christians in Nigeria.
According to reports, the development comes after U.S. President Donald Trump designated Nigeria as a “Country of Particular Concern (CPC)” over alleged Christian genocide by Islamist groups. Trump also directed the U.S. Department of Defense to prepare for potential action against terrorist organizations in Nigeria.

Reacting to Trump’s statement, the 12-time Grammy-nominated artist praised the religious freedom enjoyed in the United States while strongly condemning the oppression of Christians in Nigeria.
In response, Mike Waltz commended Nicki Minaj for using her influence to advocate for persecuted Christians and invited her for further discussions on the matter.
Mike Waltz said “I would love to speak with you in more depth about what our administration is doing to protect Christians’ freedoms all over the world.
“We can’t allow this to continue. Every sister and brother of Christ must band together and say, “Enough!”, he stated
