Celebrity Nigerian cryptocurrency entrepreneur Linus Williams Ifejirika, popularly known as Blord, has been granted bail after spending several weeks in Kuje prison over allegations of impersonating social media commentator Martins Vincent Otse, also known as VeryDarkMan.
The development was disclosed by activist and former presidential candidate Omoyele Sowore in a brief statement shared on his official Facebook page on Friday.
According to Sowore, Blord was granted bail on self-recognition following his arraignment at the Federal High Court in Abuja.
He added that the court directed Blord to surrender his international passport as part of the bail conditions.
“Bail has been granted to Linus Williams, popularly known as @mrblordofficial BLORD, on self-recognizance. The court, however, ordered that he deposit his international passport as part of the bail conditions,” VeryDrkMan wrote.
Recall that Blord was ordered to be remanded in prison on April 1, 2026 due to his drama with VeryDarkMan.
