Position: Business Development Manager
Coverage Area: NORTH (Kaduna, Kano, Plateau & Niger States, Nigeria)
We are seeking an experienced and results-driven Business Development Manager to drive sales growth and market expansion across Kaduna, Kano, Plateau, and Niger States. If you have strong experience in the Wine & Spirits industry and a passion for building and managing distribution networks, we would love to hear from you.

Position: Business Development Manager
Key Responsibilities
• Develop and implement regional business plans to achieve sales and growth targets across Kaduna, Kano, Plateau, and Niger States.
• Drive market expansion by onboarding new distributors and wholesalers in unserved and underdeveloped markets.
• Manage Business Area P&L to ensure profitability and sustainable growth.
• Foster a strong performance management culture within the sales team.
• Oversee credit risk management and ensure compliance with company credit policies.
• Ensure effective in-trade execution across all assigned markets.
• Manage and safeguard trade assets within the Business Development Area.
• Strengthen customer relationship management, optimize profitability, and support van sales operations.
• Recruit, train, coach, and manage the regional sales team while monitoring performance to ensure targets are achieved.
• Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and consumer insights to guide strategic decisions.

Position: Business Development Manager
Requirements
• Bachelor’s degree in any relevant field (MBA is an added advantage).
• Minimum of 5 years’ proven experience in the Wine & Spirits industry.
• Strong track record of achieving and exceeding sales targets across multiple territories.
• Proven ability to position and differentiate products against competitors.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
• Strong analytical, planning, and problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, target-driven environment.
• Candidate must reside in Kaduna, Kano, Plateau, or Niger State.
