Iran has promised to exact revenge on US President Donald Trump for the assassination of their Supreme Leader, Ayatollah Ali Khamenei.
Ali Larijani, Secretary of Iran’s Supreme National Security Council made this vow in a statement via X on Saturday, exactly one week after their Supreme Leader was eliminated in an Israeli and US airstrike launched on the nation.
“We will punish Trump for assassinating Supreme Leader Khamenei. We will never let him go,” it vowed.
Recall that since the crisis broke out on February 28, many Iranians have been killed and six US soldiers have also been killed.

Reacting, an X user, @sixtoninee said, “Trump deserves this and I’m sure Iran will do this. Persians have history of being braves. They won’t let it go.
“Israel and the United have already failed in changing the regime. They made the regime more stronger. They are losing this war from every angle.”
Meanwhile, this warning comes less than twenty four hours after Iranian President, Masoud Pezeshkian tendered an apology to neighbouring countries in the region affected by retaliatory airstrikes in the week-old conflict against Israel and the United States.
