‘We’re both adults, not underage’ – VeryDarkMan fires back with controversial reaction to Phyna’s sexual advance accusation [VIDEO]

Social media critic and influencer, VeryDarkMan, has responded to allegations made by former Big Brother Naija winner, Phyna, accusing him of making sexual advances toward her.

The controversy follows claims by Phyna on Sunday that VeryDarkMan withdrew from pursuing justice in her late sister’s case because she rejected his alleged request for a sexual relationship.

Reacting in a video shared on Instagram, VeryDarkMan questioned why such a request would be considered wrong between two consenting adults, while also denying ever making the statement.

He said he would like to see the evidence Phyna claimed to have.

“Phyna said that I, VeryDarkMan, wanted to sleep with her. She claimed she has evidence, and I would like to see it because I never told Phyna that I wanted to sleep with her,” he said.

He further argued that even if such a conversation had happened, there would be nothing inappropriate about it since both of them are adults.

“What if I told Phyna that I wanted to sleep with her? Is there a problem with that? We are both adults. Asking someone means seeking consent. Thank God you didn’t say I wanted to force myself on you or drug you.

“If you say you have evidence, it means I allegedly asked you respectfully, and that’s how adults are supposed to communicate. Besides, she is not underage.

“So even if VeryDarkMan said he wanted to sleep with you, what exactly is the issue? I’m not married and she’s not married either. But for the record, I never said it,” he added.
