“Wike Is PDP’s True Leader, We Follow His Lead” — Fayose Declares

Former Ekiti State governor, Ayodele Fayose, on Sunday described FCT minister, Nyesom Wike as the party’s national leader.

Fayose also reaffirmed the unity of the Peoples Democratic Party(PDP), stressing that court rulings remain binding on party members.

Speaking on behalf of the Ekiti delegation, Fayose declared that the group was fully represented and dedicated to the party’s goals.

The former Ekiti state governor disclosed this while giving his speech at the ongoing PDP national convention at the Moshood Abiola National Stadium on Sunday.

“Yes, we delegates from Ekiti are here, and we are 88. There is only one PDP. Once we have the pronouncement of the court, we must abide by it. Sometimes we demean the judiciary by ourselves. We can appeal a judgment,” he said.
