Umar Tanko Yakasai, a senior member of the All Progressives Congress, has called on President Bola Tinubu’s appointees to actively engage and involve Nigerians in their work.

He made the appeal during an Iftar event held in Abuja on Monday.
Yakasai emphasized that appointees of the current administration should strive to be a beacon of guidance and inspiration for the nation.
Yakasai also admonished Nigerians on the need to rally support for the current administration and ensure they shun all forms of tribalism and religious bias.

“Few of us that got appointed should do everything humanly possible to carry as many members of the support groups as they can along in order to distribute patronage and support one another as well as the president’s efforts to reward party faithfuls,” Yakasai, who doubled as the Director General of Tinubu Support Group, TSG, said.
This is coming after Tinubu on Monday swore in Taiwo Oyedele as the country’s Minister of State for Finance.
