The ‘Dada’ hitmaker shared that he currently prefers maintaining platonic relationships over pursuing anything serious.

Speaking during a recent episode of the ‘Way Up’ podcast with Angela Yee, the 30-year-old artist explained that he’s not in a place emotionally or mentally where he can give his all to a romantic relationship or settle down.

“Everybody loves love. I mean, love is wonderful. But, I’m not really in that space where I can give so much of me to one person. So, I’m just keeping it platonic with everybody,” he expressed.

“I don’t want a serious relationship right now. Because I feel like I won’t be able to give that person as much as I’m supposed to. So why put them in that situation?”

Young Jonn made the appearance on the podcast after his rumoured romance with Davido’s cousin, Adenike Adeleke, aka Nikos Living, reportedly ended.

The duo sparked relationship speculations after Nikos shared photos and posts of her and Young Jonn in early 2024.

The couple reportedly broke up in August 2025, with signs including unfollowing each other on social media and the deletion of their photos together.
