The Peoples Democratic Party(PDP), has firmly stated it would actively participate in the 2027 general elections despite its ongoing factional leadership crisis.
A chieftain of the party, Mazi Sam Ohuabunwa, disclosed this on Sunday during an interview on Arise Television.
He said, “A Supreme Court judgment will decide the fate of the PDP, but for now, the party is trying to rebuild.

“The PDP has been battered from 2022 to date by clashing interests, internal conflict, and a lack of leadership.
“The Appeal Court has recognised a leadership structure in the party, and we expect them to present candidates for the 2027 election.
“Until the Supreme Court rules on this matter, the PDP cannot afford to let anarchy destroy the party.”
