Veteran Nigerian singer Innocent Idibia, popularly known as 2Baba and his new wife, Edo State lawmaker, Natasha Osawaru have reportedly welcomed their first child together, a baby boy.
Osawaru was seen in a hospital earlier on Friday, which sparked rumours that she was in labour and increased speculation about the delivery.

A few hours later, the politician announced that the couple had been “blessed with a baby boy” in a brief statement on her official Facebook handle. This announcement sparked waves of congratulations on social media.
She wrote, “Congratulations to Mr & Mrs Idibia. We joyfully welcome our bouncy baby boy into the world . May this precious little one bring endless laughter, happiness, and blessings to our beautiful family.
“With love, strength, and unforgettable moments as we begin this wonderful new chapter. Welcome, baby boy Idibia.”
The new arrival adds to the evolving story of their high-profile controversial union.
Following the singer’s split from Annie Idibia in January, 2Baba and Osawaru formally announced their romance earlier this year. From the Valentine’s Day proposal to subsequent family visits and customary ceremonies, their romance swiftly attracted public notice.
