A stampede at a concert by a popular Nigerian musician in Nairobi, Kenya, has resulted in the death of a 20-year-old woman, Karen Lojore.

The incident, which was triggered by overcrowding, occurred on Saturday, December 20, at the Nyayo National Stadium in Nairobi.

Reports say on-site paramedics carried out emergency resuscitation efforts before rushing Lojore to Nairobi West Hospital, where she was later confirmed dead.
