Social media commentator Daniel Regha admitted to getting death threats for his comments on X. He shared this on Channels TV’s Rubbin’ Minds with Ebuka Obi-Uchendu. Regha mentioned disguising himself when going out to evade recognition by online adversaries who might act on their threats.

He explained, “Whenever I go out, I wear a mask. I’m cautious as I don’t know who might confront me, saying, ‘Finally, I’ve found you.’ I receive threats frequently. Recently, people warned they’d shoot me in Lagos, Ibadan, or Benin, adding RIP emojis, guns, or axes. It’s scary. But I pray for protection.”

When questioned if he sees himself as a troll, Regha responded, “I’m not a troll. Certainly not!”
