Following the viral dance video featuring him and his daughter Eyiyemi at an event, popular Nollywood actor and producer Kunle Afolayan has broken his silence. The event, the premiere of the movie “Anikulapo: Rise of the Spectre,” was held at Sheraton Hotel, Ikeja, on Sunday, February 25th, 2024. The movie is set to be launched on Netflix on March 1st.

The video of Kunle Afolayan dancing with his daughter from behind has been described by many as romantic. In the clip, the superstar movie producer wraps his arms around his daughter’s waist, swaying from side to side.

Kunle Afolayan responded to the heavy backlash on his verified Instagram page, expressing indifference to criticism. Accompanying the post with Phyno and Burna Boy’s hit song “Do I”, he asserted his confidence, stating, “I am a King! I am a child of the most high! You can only try👍🏾 Love surpasses everything 🫶🏾 Do I look like …” He also shared stunning photos, including one with his daughter, Eyiyemi Afolayan.
