Ferguson, known for his competitive spirit, seems particularly interested in seeing Xabi Alonso’s Leverkusen side dethrone the Bayern giants. In an interview with the Eintracht Frankfurt website, he revealed his preference for the underdogs:
“I always hope to see the underdog win,” Ferguson said. “Bayern fans may not agree with that, but like all the neutral fans in Germany, I really hope to see someone else win the league again.”
