Port Harcourt Hosts Fake Wedding Gala, Leaves Attendees in Awe
In a groundbreaking event, Port Harcourt’s wedding vendors joined forces to create a fake wedding themed the weddinggalaphc, showcasing the city’s vibrant event scene. The innovative concept brought together decorators, planners, cinematographers, bridal shops, rental companies, and security services to create an immersive experience.
At the heart of the fake wedding event were Miss Travel World, Rosemary Johnson and Perfume Oil Connoisseur Yuvrahj Kotai, who played the roles of bride and groom. The fake wedding featured all the trappings of a real ceremony, including family members, an after-party, best dressed male and female attenders and celebrity appearances.
The Wedding Gala took place at the prestigious White Jade Event Centre on G.U Ake Road, with guests adhering to the “Owambe Extravaganza” dress code. Renowned figures in Port Harcourt, including Pastor Talking Drum and BBN Emma, added to the event’s glamour.
The fake wedding’s social media promotions were remarkably convincing, leaving many people wondering if it was real. While some attendees praised the organizers for creating a fun and memorable experience, others criticized the event, suggesting that the resources could have been better utilized to support a real couple’s wedding.
